The World is Meant to Be Celebrated. Time makes photography a unique art form. Moments of time can be transformed into art by a photographer in control of their craft. A short shutter speed freezes the movement of an ocean wave about to break over a rock. A longer shutter subtly blurs the motion of clouds and water to evoke different moods.
My work controls time. I use creative photography techniques such as Intentional Camera Motion (ICM) to paint with light over a longer time to create abstract artwork from nature. Multiple Exposure uses many frames taken from different vantage points to craft an impressionistic ethereal vision of a landscape.
Using landscape and abstract photography, I dive into intimate looks of the worlds I explore. I celebrate the edges of the natural world and the beauty of impermanence. Craft and vision are honed to capture moments of simple splendor through light, color, lines, texture. Creative techniques capture the essence of the natural world into an abstract artwork unique and personal to the photographer.
