About the Artist
Don Hart is a master turner who makes usable art out of many materials including but not limited to: domestic and exotic wood, bamboo, acrylic, snakeskin, circuit boards, watch parts, and shredded money. Item include pens, pencils, key chains, ice cream scoops, razors, and many other items. Truly art you can use. Each item is made from materials carefully selected to maximize both the aesthetics and usability of the finished product. Then the materials are prepped and placed on the lathe and hand-turned. After the items are turned they are sanded, polished, and then have a material-specific finish applied.
