I have been working with glass in one form or another since 1994. In 2005 I quit the IT business and left the corporate world to pursue my dream of supporting my family through my glass creations. Having worked many years in a high stress occupation, I seek to create meditative works of art that an individual can carry on their person or keep nearby for contemplative or therapeutic use when life gets tough. I have always been fascinated with astronomy, and even worked for NASA at one point, so it was a natural evolution for me to focus on the wonders of the universe and attempt to encapsulate that in glass. The pocket galaxy titled "Red Gas Giant" was inspired by watching the impact of the comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 on Jupiter in 1994.
