MISK is primarily a geometric minimalist sculptor. His other works include wall art, paintings, and installations. His mediums include white marble, acrylic, gouache, wood, steel, and ink. In contrast to his white marble sculptures, he has recently been combining centuries-old geometric motifs with contemporary designs. He paints on white marble, wood, metal, canvas, and paper. This body of work involves creating highly detailed paintings directly on various surfaces which is rooted in historical traditions of grid and illumination. His work bridges ancient artistic traditions with modern creativity. Misk’s work has been on exhibition in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.
