My artistic journey is deeply rooted in Tanzania, where sisal farms and the vibrant culture influenced my upbringing. As a painter, I have discovered a unique way to transform sisal fibers, used in practical items such as ropes and baskets, into visual art. Mixing them with acrylic paint breathes new life into the fibers, infusing my work with impressionistic elements. Using neutral colors, I aim to create a sense of peace and collective harmony, inviting viewers to experience the tranquil and contemplative vibes of my artwork.
