I was drawn to jewelry design because it is immediate. You can have a beautiful tactile object in a few hours. Perhaps I'm rewarding myself for toiling in Architecture School for several years. I'm inspired by patterns and textures seen in everyday life. Whether it's a grassland in Nebraska, a bridge in NYC, or the mini-blinds in my studio, a spark of an idea can be found in all of them. My process is simple: I cut, form, and connect precious metals into well conceived designs meant to feel subtly pleasing and comfortable...and to be worn often!
