About the Artist
Using Adobe software, and a hand fluent from decades of oil painting; images are woven together to create new meaning. Dreams, allegory, gestalt: the essence of the surreal state. My inspiration flows from the shoulders of our ancestral pool. A key example of this is "Prairie Vessel" which I've borrowed from one of my favorite painting periods. By taking a landscape and transforming it into a still life of sorts it is infused with a heightened sense of surrealism. I pull from many different sources and weave them together in a painterly fashion to create a new whole. Lives and works in Charleston, SC.
