I paint from the heart. I often imagine the painting in my mind before I paint it. The process always involves choosing the colors I want to work with first, secondly I decide on the subject I want to paint, and finally I choose the canvas size. Some images require me to prepare the back ground with molding paste and or gold leaf. Once the area is dry, I will proceed with the wet on wet technique to create my painting.
