About the Artist
All elements of the jewelry are hand fabricated in Fine Silver, Sterling Silver, and 18kt. gold. Woven metal techniques are often used to incorporate natural stones and pearls into individually made components. After a piece is sculpted and finished, a single strand of fine gauge wire is used to set the tiny stones. Each stone is woven, or sewn, one by one, into place. Chains are made link by link and forged on an anvil. Pre-fabricated parts are avoided. No large-scale production methods are ever used. Great attention is paid to creating exquisitely detailed, lively pieces that have an enduring appeal. It is my intent to combine my love for the technical process, with endless inspiration from my customers and the natural world around me, to project a uniquely feminine, modern sense of design. Lives and works in Reisterstown, MD.
