For the past 30 years, I've been a potter, learning the traditonal art under my father and older brother. Now my goal is to preserve this tradition and keep my ancestors' culture alive.
Momotombo (photo1) inspired by one of the most historic volcanoes in Nicaragua, my country of origin. One of his eruptions destroyed the ancient city of Leon, one of the first founded in America by the Spanish conquerors. In addition, her beauty has been the reason for photographs by The National Geographic.
