My art is about spreading good energy and making viual art thats interesting, uplifting and keeps the viewer involved. To accomplish this I make very layered abstract back grounds either with collaged patterened papers, book pages and music pages that I then paint on, or abstract painting, some with collaged mixed in with textured mediums. I use patterned papers torn or cut to make most of the botanical elements of my art. Each flower petal is a different paper, each leaf on a tree is thousands of little pieces of paper layeredwith painted leaves also. The birds, foxes, and other animals are painted on thick paper cut out by hand, edged and glued down for a 3D feel. My back grounds are busy yet calming and my subjects engaging and from nature.I finish many of my art pieces with a resin finish. My art is about putting good energy and vibrate joyful art out into the world and in homes and businesses of people. I hope that when a viewer has a bad day they can look at my art and it change their energy to a more positive one and make their day a bit better.
