About the Artist
I love to pay homage to the past by visiting museums and antique shops and revisiting decades long ago for inspiration. Historical allusions are refreshed with the innovation of yesterday and today which is reflected in my work by using insects, nature, the sea, and the antique finish and colors that I apply to each piece. My pewter jewelry starts with a model sculpted in pewter and clay, hand-cast, soldered, antiqued, hand enameled, and set with semiprecious stones creating my multi-layered detailed botanical work. Lives and woks in Baltimore, MD.
