I was born and raised in the arts and crafts world. By the age of 24, in the late 80's, I was introduced to Jonathan and was hired to help him sand spoons. Along with my love for wood and the possibilities it brings, I brought my inherent artistic talents, and understanding and appreciation for the craft world. I am a self-taught gourmet cook with an obsession for perfection. This allows me to transpose spoon designs with real usefulness. Occasionally, I will burn my spoons with a torch. This burning process provides an incredibly smooth surface, and a natural method to create a blackened spoon.
