I'm a European-trained contemporary artist, living in the USA. Since August 2023 in Virginia. I believe a personal style develops through intensive, daily working.
I'm fascinated by the human face and its expressions. In my paintings in a gestural, intuitive way I'm catching the emotions.
You can see that especially in the double portrait " Sisters".
I'm using acrylic paint, large brushes, and different tools to underline the dramaturgy of the movement. Looking for complete expression and working on a painting as long as is needed to meet her intentions.
I'm painting portraits, as well as figures and still life. Large to small format, on canvas and paper.
