As a woodworker with a love of color and light, I combine naturally finished hardwoods with art glass to create statement lamps and window panels. I find inspiration in the Arts and Crafts movement and Prairie School, with an emphasis on organic materials and quality craftsmanship. Each piece is made with individual attention, from the selection of hardwoods to the hand-rubbed finish.
My original geometric designs unify the glass using wood joinery in lieu of traditional stained-glass methods. My removable glass panel lamps allow a collector to easily customize and update colors. Finding ways to leave no materials behind, my stacked landscape scenes can be hung in a window or displayed in a light box. Sustainability is at the forefront of each design, utilizing locally sourced hardwoods and L.E.D. technology.
