I’m intrigued with the open rugged terrain from Cappadocia landscape in Turkey to the Rocky Mountains. I call myself a reactionary painter. As I create layers of textures, paint and marks I’m reacting to the shapes which leads to large open spaces and in-depth surfaces. I feel my current work “Room To Breathe “ reflects my love and intrigue with mountain landscapes.
